Robert Gershinson

Robert is a London based photographer and video director who takes his influences from films and American comics.

He has a background in short filmmaking (having studied at FilmU, part of Leeds Metropolitan University) and spent time working in Television before returning to full time education to study photography at London College of Communication.

He is concerned with two words when devising an image: ‘story’ and ‘cool’. Working from a story, theme and concept means that the image will not be an empty one: everything in frame is there for a reason. And of course the image must look cool – photography is a visual medium!

Robert has an understanding of many different styles of photography and is very adaptable to the needs of the client. His clients include Gay Times, 1883 Magazine and Intellect Publishing.
