Steven Fisher started his career in the world of fashion photography at Dazed and Confused.
He quickly realised that his love of film and exploring had to enter his own work and so his fashion shoots became all location based, the hunt for finding the perfect location is still very important to him.
This also led to a purely landscape book called “No Place”, as he felt the importance wasn’t necessarily letting the viewer know where the picture was taken but more the feeling the picture gives you, with the images dipped in subtle hues of colour.
His work has now inevitably moved into moving image. Involving fashion, documentary and commercial. He has created films for Centrefold magazine, Hole & Corner, The Crown Estate and Crabtree & Evelyn among others. He is about start on a series of films for The Telegraph incorporating luxury and craft.
